Does China have enough naval helicopters to properly populate all the LHD and LPDs? So far from IISS it looks like China's total helicopter count is extremely low compared to US and Russia. The situation is even worse when it comes to naval helicopters
Naval helicopter wings in PLAN are not permanently attached to any naval ships. What you and IISS sees are those helicopters that were deployed for the durantions of training and exercises onboard these ships, also you are at the mercy of PLAN on what they want you to see and what were allowed to be photographed.

There is more than one helicopter for each surface combattants like FFG and DDG in PLAN. There are less than 100 FFGs and DDGS in service at the moment, and there were at least 180 naval helicopters in July 2024 according to Chinese sources. A year later in July 2025, there will be several dozens more new naval helicopters inducted, expecially Z20 naval versions.

And I don't think Russia navy has more helicopters than PLAN. US navy has far more LHA, LPD and aircraft carrier than China, thus their need for naval helicopters is larger.

To be built at their Longxue facility? I don't think their old yard at Changzhou Island has sufficient space to accomodate a 075

I do wonder what would be the final procurement number for this type? Maybe 3 per fleet for a total of 9? PLAN higher ups seems to think that Type 075 and Type 076 are different classes of vessel and hence I don't think 075 procurement would have any effect on 076 procurement or vice versa.
