I’m not denying that, they definitely have, but fighting Japan along with the US makes it alot more difficult for China to win, they likely won’t be able to strike US mainland but it’s possible but they can strike Guam though with the DF-26 what they have around 250+ of according to US estimates so likely more. And possibly the CJ-20 if the H-6k is further out of mainland China what I find unlikely unless China has air superiority over the first island chain. I didn’t mention South Korea since South Korea is unlikely to join and would probably not allow US bases, and I didn’t mention the Philippines because their not a threat to China at all besides the US weapons there
US will be lucky to have air superiority 500 miles west of Hawaii if they can't operate from Guam or anything west of that.
Do you know how many sorties you can run if you have to run tankers from Hawaii? lol

And that's assuming US calls it quits within a few days, if it turns into a full scale war China won't just strike Guam, China will take Guam and island hop until US is entirely contained to CONUS, with thousands of miles of water between it and the nearest island.

China might try to take Guam but it would be near impossible let’s be realistic here. Yes the US having air superiority near China and Taiwan will be incredibly difficult and China taken Guam will be even more difficult than that, Guam is 2,779 kilometers from Taiwan, for taiwan, China can just use amphibious assault ships and paratroopers they can do that since it’s so close but they can’t do that for Guam. Chinas best bet is to launch enough missiles at Guam’s military facilities to render it obsolete for military operations from the US

Wait til you find out how far Guam is from the nearest US base that's not under Chinese air superiority, lol

Guam can only be resupplied if the US has both air and sea control around it. It isn't connected to anything else after all. Once air or sea control is lost, there is only the local Guam garrison. And the Guam garrison isn't that big.

What’s in another country, you think China is going to invade another country after they take Taiwan? Do you see that as possible and reasonable or do you think China would rather render Guam useless for military operations.

They literally will have air and naval superiority over Guam and Around it so that isn’t really an issue for them

The last country that think it can attack the world's largest industrial power and still keep their Pacific islands, they now have 120 military bases from the country they attack on their home soil. Once US fire on China or PLA, it's war and all claims to sovereignty are off. If US can't handle it, don't get involved in Taiwan, it's not hard.

US has air and naval superiority over Guam only during peacetime when the guy who actually has the ability to achieve superiority don't shoot them.

Chinese strategy is very simple, to have escalatory dominance and winning it without fighting. The American had already forfeited the SCS to the Chinese because of this and we may see it happen in the 1st Island chain as well.

The US also know that they can't depend on her Vassal like SK and Japan because they're ASIAN, its as simple as that. Only the Five eyes like Australia and New Zealand can be depend upon to support the Hegemon aims cause if shit hit the fan, they can just leave the Asia pacific region and go back to their ancestral country.

Plus the Chinese will decide where to take the fight and will take the initiative away from the American. Building Carrier group and SSN you know which part of the theater they plan to confront the US.
