This sounds like wishful thinking to me. Instead of breaking the China-Russia alliance in the Middle East, it's more likely that the US regime will get stuck in another quagmire over there.

Honestly its been rather disappointing to see Iran act a lot like India. At least India can say its been held back by old religious dogma, foreign invasions, incompatibility with a lot of states, shameful history, low levels of education etc. Iran doesn't have the same level of excuses to be acting like that.
