Looks like Israel is not just trying to use Americans as human shields, they seem to want them to die because what else is going to motivate the US to get involved if it wasn't because Iranians killed Americans.
Of all the countries in the world, Vietnam probably has the most realistic understanding of its position versus China. They know that China will always be giant next door, no matter what happens, so it makes sense to not antagonize it too much. Besides, there is a lot of advantage to gain by playing between two bigger powers.Doubt it. Vietnam and China have their issues but I don't think that the Vietnamese leadership want to be a puppet state of the US. Given that Vietnam political system is not that different from China.
Their retardation is chronic, my friend went to a University in Lisbon and American cultural center opened there to "compete" with the influence of Confucious Institute a few years back. It suddenly started questioning the University if it has "any connection with China or Iran, any inclusivity programs, an anti-christian program or association with communist parties"(Wut), the University gave no answer and the center shut down soon after that(wut). Can't tell if they're retarded or they think we're retarded.
Where are you and what level of education are you talking about? In the US, in higher scientific academia, it's generally the understanding that the US has gone insane and China is both more reasonable and has a much bigger claim to the future. The story about the FBI going to MD Anderson asking Chinese lab directors if they're more concerned with Chinese cancer or American cancer is the laughing stock of all scientific PhDs. My friend's director is Egyptian and he was firm that America is the most futuristic advanced society in the world and China is backwards... until he went to China for 1 conference and got Elon Musk'd. It's possible that people are holding back with me because I'm Chinese but it's certain that the scientific community in the US think their government as absolutely lost its marbles, mostly from fear of China.
US is pretty much certain to strike Iran now. If Iran had any brain, they would do a pre-emptive strike on US bases all over the ME now. Before they can strike. A surprise blow would set back US ability to strike Iran and allow Iran the breathing space to hunker down further.
Elbridge Colby must be working really hard these days.
Will VN be "forced" to turn "hostile" like PH vs CN?
.....
Werent Turkey hosting nato bases helping lsr?
Should China relocate their H-6 bombers in Pakistan, in preparation for the bombing of US assets used in the invasion of Iran?
I hope you guys are joking or this is delusional of the highest level. China will never ever join militarily in a war with US for Iran. The most China will ever do is provide them with weapons and ISR. Infact, China's satellite ISR will be the most important support that Iran can get and will most certainly have huge impact on the battle outcome. In terms of weapons also, China will not provide anything that can be visibly point at China. So, no Chinese weapon system.
Only if there are signs of a ground war. It'd take months of preparations so there won't be any surprise.
You know people keep yapping on how China is a dictatorship and how its leaders are worshipped as gods. But yet apart from a few local places which is done as a personal preference by the boss himself you're not gonna see a portrait of Xi or Mao in the office. This is especially apparent in settings that demand a more professional environment like finance or tech because its simply not professional. You're there to work not worship and I think Xi or whatever prefers you focus on doing your job properly first over everything else esp in important sectors. I actually think even in government offices, they don't do that.
And yet you have places like Iran where they have portraits of Khamenei everywhere. Like I remember seeing a clip of some semiconductor or weapon foundry clean room with people in the white covers and there was a portrait of Khamenei in it lol.
China isn't in the iron curtain age. People can openly visit and even work there. I have no clue why people still have this view on China.
