So Pakistan is indeed next in line. This will enable US and allies to do pincher move against China should Pakistan fall or change allegiance
I don't think their next target would be Pakistan. It's most likely turkey since they are modernizing military and will become a threat in the future.
This squirrel seem to make alot of sense with his takes. HIs theory is that it is basically the same game book we saw in libya, syria, iraq , etc. Kill off the leadership, chaos, starvation, then send in the head choppers. From the color revolution in ukraine to the arab spring, we may be witnessing an alt/quiet www3 happening by a particular block.
Not to take away from the Iran free for all, but I think the other take away is even with months of planning and some of the most advanced ABM technology on the planet alert and ready, some ballistic missiles from Iran still got through.

One thing I question in this thread is that with complete air superiority, I don't see why they cannot also target their nuclear facilities too. They can certainly be obliterated.
I think Israeli military goals are likely:
1. De-militarisation — including the complete destruction of all nuclear facilities.
2. To trigger political instability and overthrow the regime. As we have seen with calls for uprisings and statements isolating the regime from the people.
They may not need any "head choppers" but instead they will need the pro-western monarchists to kick up some protests, get people on board, and try overthrow the regime. So look out for any anti-regime monarchist protests happening or propaganda of that sort.
Well deserved, IMHO.
The existence of Iran hinges on this. Yet people over there are still not being serious enough. Some still think going against the current government to spite it will be productive. Others still think they will be accepted by the west and are clinging onto that.
Things move fast in modern warfare now. Missiles can fly across 3 different countries and hit you in less than an hour now. You think you have time but you don't. Look how fast Syria or even Afghanistan fell. Iranians may think that won't happen to them but it can easily happen.
