3.7 billion is the debt relief and not how much Chinese equipment is going to cost.
Yes, I'm not going to tolerate this silliness anymore.

If you are going to do something like posting the cost of a deal, at least make sure that's what the statement said. There is translate button on the tweet. People, stop being lazy and do some work.

I'm going to delete any follow on comments about $3.7B as cost of the weapon package.

All it said was that this was offered, rather than a deal has been signed.

As china has less strong allies than usa. It is smart to build up the few reliable friends that you can even if they cant repay back.

If taiwan and west pac war starts, it is smart to have a strong vigilant akistan by his side to keep india honest from doing any form of intervention.

After the war, sales for chinese weapons has sky rocketed. And PAF is a well trained AF that can fully display the hardware capability unlike many middle east nations that often makes it an embarrassment

His comment here is why people should not be concerned about exporting a few J-35s to Pakistan.

Now, the interesting comment is where he said the 5th generation production will surpass 150 per year very soon (My guess that represents either this year or 2026. That's quite an interesting statement

Much of it is fueled by underestimation of own capabilities and gear by PLAAF high command. They assume worst case scenario where U.S. can muster all allies Full Spectrum Jamming style and park all 1000 + F-35s in China’s vicinity and get 100% readiness rate from them.

Basically Chinese Air Force heads believe everything on the Lockheed marketing brochure about the F-35, including the pricing which is actually deceptive because it doesn’t include many essential systems that allow the aircraft to be combat effective. They essentially forced SAC to make a plane that matches the pricing and performance of a fantasy variant of F-35.
Oh the irony that China did the same thing that the US did when she saw those looping Soviet bombers lmao. History often finds beautiful ways to repeat itself.

What if China and US made a deal to break India.

Since both US and China need each other, but 3rd power India / Russia needs to be dealt with?
Maybe in something like HoI IV or Civ VII. Cutting losses with India isn't an unwise thought but at this time there's some significant strategic inertia stopping US and China from having dialogues such as these.

Obviously, it would be amazing if a new type like the J-35 would start mass producing at 50 a year right off the bat.

What say 120 J-20s with the remainders being J-35s both naval and air force/exports?

The Guancha Trios said around the time of the Zhuhai Expo 2024 that Chengdu AC is already at its limits with ~100x J-20/A/Ss per year at its current production run. I wouldn't expect any notable increase in J-20 production for the foreseeable periods of time.

That means we could actually be looking at the J-35 family (J-35 and J-35A) already being under serial production (or at least in LRIP) by Shenyang AC for the past one year (or two years at the absolute most).
