This thread has become too much speculations on exports and not enough facts.

Unless an official news has been released about a deal penned and sign, I think everyone needs to slow down about export J-35A.
Yankee rumors shouldn't be treated as fact. In fact I wouldn't believe that a J-35AE has flown unless a photo has been released to back it up.

This reminds of talks about a Type-052E going to an oil-rich country that never happened.

We need to move away frivolous rumors and more into this project development and production status all backed by images.

Treat this thread like what were done with the J-20 threads.

Completely agree.

One area where I am interested to know more is how the J-35 is integrated into China's global space and C4ISR assets. Could J-35s operated by an ally receive Gaofen feeds or SAR tracks while airborne?

Unlikely, export equipment don't come with PLA datalink hence would probably be unable to uplink with PLA satellites and ground installations.

I would just like to point out that Pakistan is the only country, which has been authorized to use military verison of chinese space assets. So potential for real time Satellite input is there, albiet it may be a different system that what PLA uses.

Not necessarily. While export equipment may lack PLA-specific datalinks, interoperability isn't unprecedented. Pakistan, for instance, operates a wide array of platforms sourced from different countries including Chinese, American, European, and Turkish systems.

Despite this diversity, Pakistan has developed indigenous solutions like Link-16 & 17 and integrates to ensure effective connectivity between its AWACS, fighter aircraft, ECM/ESM platforms, drones, air defense units, naval ships, and even submarines.

This shows that with the right architecture and adaptation, multi-platform interoperability is achievable even across systems from different origins.

Yankee and friends confirm that J-35AE progressed much quicker in the past few years because a Middle Eastern oil baron is shouldering the RnD bills. This is significant because not only is China willing to sell despite U.S./Israeli pressure, but a Gulf State nation usually known for their cuck policies is willing to buy despite the pressure as well. That said it will be 3-5 years before we see everything gets finalized.

My guess is that UAE is responsible for the funding. They have direct exposure to PLAAF assets during Falcon Shield exercises and have acquired L-15 trainers.
