That is clearly a lie since the CJ-1000 has flown on the Y-20 test aircraft and the CJ-2000 did not. CJ-2000 development might have progressed faster but it is clearly behind CJ-1000.
Well I didn't claim otherwise regarding "CJ-2000 is clearly behind CJ-1000." I just said the pace of the CJ-2000 is much faster (and the team is apparently more competent/efficient).

FT and NYT clearly stated, this ban is in response to China's export control of Rare Earth and critical metals. this thing created global shortfall.. Trump wants a deal with China on RE export control. so he paused Engine sales.

@ACuriousPLAFan ..

And it's best for China to remain steadfast and goes even more aggressive with the rare earth and critical metal restrictions against the US, alongside countermeasures in other sectors.

This is also hard-gain opportunity to place loud slaps across the faces of anyone in COMAC and AECC who're still dreaming of "we still have enough time, the US definitely won't cut our engine supplies, chill out".
