They wouldn't even know what hit them if they were fighting China. It would be repeat of Operation Desert Storm. Complete nervous breakdown on Indian side. IDK why these guys are obsessed with China. China is way out of your league India...it almost feels like they feel bad because China (and Chinese people in general) simply ignore India and they don't even consider India a threat so it hurts Indian feelings because they want to be center of attention everywhere.
They have another big cope, which is China is too busy fighting US and will only fight India with forces in the Western theater command, and then count the fighter jets and other assets from that theater command only.
Yes, they are very rational and they made the right decision because China now has the capability to wipe out Japan but i haven't seen hate ridden posts from Chinese calling for Japanese Revenge (which one could argue would be justified given what they did in WW2)
Very hard to conclude anything... If they used cluster warhead with small individual warheads, you can have damage all over the place without visual clue with that picture quality. A grenade sized warhead could damage an aircraft at a good distance with small shrapnel leaving undiscernible explosion damage. Probably that we will not ear a lot about that kind of damage from both sides.
Since J-10CE is the only fighter jet in the world that have a combat proven record of shooting down another western 4.5 gen fighter jet right now, the only way Indians/westoids can do and cope is to move the goal post to PLA itself is not combat proven.
