I would say Vietnam 1979 was a half measure. Against India in 1960s too.
Such footage is not easily faked. I keep an open mind.At least read the last few pages man.
We'll know for sure once DG ISPR discloses a proper videoSuch footage is not easily faked. I keep an open mind.
It is confirmed that the S-400 launched 9M96 and 40N6, and debris found near Amritsar
Ask Abhinandan... (I’m not sure if this capture is true, but pilots violating orders is more common than you might think.)Yeah the capture of Indian pilot seems suspect. Disregarding any pictures/video for the moment it just doesn't make sense from a military point of view. The IAF sent 1 random plane over enemy territory right after they lost a bunch while still in their own territory? For what reason? Why would an IAF plane be alone randomly over Pakistan? Planes operate in groups, you don't randomly send 1 fighter over enemy territory alone. It doesn't really add up. Unless we get news of further large scale IAF deployments I just don't think this makes sense. Maybe a pilot just went crazy and decided to ignore all orders but this seems unlikely.
These are booster stages, fallen off as per normal launch I believe"Larger missile debris crashed in India's Pokhran region, Rajasthan—and an Indian netizen living right next to the impact site snapped photos, estimating the wreckage at ~12 feet long."

Looks like a BrahMos. I'm curious whether it was intercepted or just a launch failure.

I mean it is possible but that was more a heat of the moment during a battle thing I believe. I don't think there should be any IAF planes operating near the border/LOC right now given their recent losses so this would require intent to basically disregard orders, get in your plane, and fly over Pakistan to do... something? That seems much less likely than a heat of the moment "I've got this guy, I just need 1 more minute" thing which Abhinandan seemed to be.Ask Abhinandan...
