Do we have more detailed info? Is it true?

Could anyone recognize where the video frames are from? Maybe a post on X?

It's a pretty credible Chinese media channel under CCTV. The video was released 30 minutes ago. Which means it's the latest news.

Now it's confirmed by CCTV directly. It's a Rafale that was shot down this morning. The captured pilot is from IAF 17th Rafale unit.

So far, there are no responses to this from India officially.

Global Times and Huanqiu.com‘s TikTok account cannot be equated. The latter is not much more reliable than other media (and as the official media, even Global Times had Hu Xijin before).

The story was reported by Chinese official news agency, quoting sources from Pakistan military. It can still be a fake/wrong story though.

At present, it seems that Pakistan military may have made a mistake report. OSINT has confirmed that the aircraft that crashed in Sialkot was a Turkish suicide drone, unless there was a second aircraft crash, but it has not been seen yet.

As I have repeatedly emphasized, base on the level of confidentiality of Pakistani civilians, if there was any footage, it should have been upload immediately.

Most recently in the Pakistan forums, the reports are coming out that the pilot being captured is fake news. This is probably likely, as India would have to be some kind of extra stupid to fly into Pakistan airspace after yesterday. It wouldn't shock me though, if Pakistan was intentionally suppressing this information if the pilots were indeed captured. End of day, I doubt they truly want this conflict to drag too much longer or escalate. A captured IAF rafale pilot would add another layer of humiliation, forcing India into more escalation, thus releasing the information publicly at this moment is not conducive to ending this conflict soon. Still, more than likely it's fake news.
