Pakistan will only hit military targets in India, defense minister says

From CNN’s Hira Humayun

Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said Pakistan will only hit military targets in India, not civilian.

“We will never target civilians,” he said in an interview on Pakistani news channel Geo News when asked about striking India.

“We will abide by international law. We will contain this international confrontation to military targets only.”
nice, correct choice.

It would be better to take down another Rafale on the ground, so that the world can see what advanced standoff strike is.

Any chance of Bill Sweetman turning full Wumao at some point? He is a key contributor to Aviation Week and is almost half way there during the CHAD maiden flight.

Speaking of last December's CHAD maiden flight, recall the Indian meltdowns it inflicted on Twitter?

Not too sure, but from the looks of it, things will likely only get worse for the collective Jai Hind psyche before it gets any better. :p

There's a reasonable chance the J-35 will enter Pakistani service before the end of the decade, especially as both ongoing tensions and "the recent triumph" may allow the PAF to secure more funding than previously expected.

How will our Indian bhais cope or otherwise manage come 2028 or 2029 should the J-35 begin to enter PAF service while the IAF remains limited to its current bunch of "5th generation minus" fighters?! o_O

A more far reaching effect of this confrontation is imo it will be something of a nail biting moment for our american friends as well. Do i not understand correctly that in exercises so far Rafale did well against most US types, especially the teens? If so, and if confirmed, having the Rafale defeated by what is in a way a lower tier chinese fighter, the J-10, would make one think that not only things bode not too well for the US teens vs J-10, but also that it would be much worse facing the higher tier chinese 4th gen fighters, nevermind the chinese 5th gens. And probably the same not too optimistic prospect would face the US 5th gens vs chinese 5th gens. Ditto about any chinese made SAMs killing one or more of the IAF jets lost so far.
To be fair it could simply be Indian incompetence than the jet itself.

J10C has a larger detection range and can jam other planes. there are claims no missiles have been fired from India's jets.

Days before the conflict, J10C had jammed Raf plane when they both flying around. When jammed, Raf can't do anything but to retreat back to base.

Pl15E is very deadly. It travels hypersonic speed. Over the horizon. Use AESA radar. And auto lock-on target mode.

India' jet got shot down in india territory.

Pl15 is not even the best in China' inventory. Pl17 and Pl21 is better.
