Meaning, hopefully, the potential for more fireworks this time around. As foreseen by me a few years ago for the next inevitable flareup between these 2 (the US trending more pro-India and anti-Pak because of China, thereby being less able to play the crucial mediator/defusing role it has in past instances), but I wasn't quite expecting Trump to be so shamelessly pro-BJP.

I'm sort of getting why China doesn't really waste much time and energy on India. At the rate things go, maybe India and Pakistan will end up nuking each other before China even thinks seriously about implementing the plan to take Taiwan by force.

So instead maybe China should think more on keeping itself safe from the rest of the world first since everywhere else seems to be turning into a mess. Build force fields or ways to nullify nukes.

- Pakistan declares suspension of IWT to be "Act of War", vows to secure Indus Basin Rivers at all costs.
- Indian mil attachés PNG. Must leave by April 30
- All trade and transit suspended.
- Airspace use by Indian Airlines suspended.
- All bilateral agreements suspended with India
- Any attempt by India to divert Indus water will be an act of war

Honestly the Indian subcontinent is a fr1cking mess - One of the major legacies of the British Empire, of course.

In the meantime, how's Pakistan's relationship with Russia? China is seen to be pro-Pakistan in the eyes of New Delhi, and US is seen to be backing India.

Seems like Russia could be one of the (if not the only one) major world power that can become the probable middle ground for both New Delhi and Islamabad to negotiate and settle for a ceasefire - Whether that be political or military.

In the meantime, until the crisis resolves, Beijing better have the PLA Western Theater Command be put on CRL 3* (especially the entire border regions), and be prepared to upgrade to CRL 2*, depending on the military developments in India and Pakistan. The PLA Navy South Sea Fleet should also be put on standby status.

*CRL = PLA's Combat Readiness Levels (somewhat akin to the US Military's DEFCON)

This is the perfect example of what the US, MAGA and anti-China hawks, don’t understand. China doesn’t need to win the so called trade war / tariff war etc. It just need to not lose and that’s all they need to do.

As long as countries do not actively move against China, that is already China’s victory. Whereas, the US, has to actually win, as in achieving their objectives otherwise it’s an automatic lost for them.

Trump is playing this to win while, China just need a stalemate/draw. That’s the difference in leverage. Even if countries acquiesce to some of their demands (all the ‘winning’ he keeps going on about), it means nothing if the main objective is denied. Therefore, Trump’s we are winning so much people will ask him to stop winning is in actuality a fact. Due to the fact that until he has ‘won’, all the ‘winning’ will not matter.

I used to think the most dangerous area to be at in China is around Fujian coz thats where Taiwan is basically. But after looking at the rest of the world, I think deep down not matter what nonsense they spout on the internet, they know better than to get into a fight with China. They're not really religious nor are they dirt poor so they would know better than to do something stupid like the rest of the world. Plus they use Chinese and unlikes westoids interact with mainland Chinese by making shitty posts on weibo etc.

You can be misguided with the wrong views but as long as you have brains, you can very easily change it. If you are stupid inherently then nothing can save you.

My friends from Fujian and Taiwan are both buying houses in Fujian as they all believe after the upcoming final reunification the house price in Fujian will rocket.
Kind of a more optimistic mindset compare to the situation on between India and Pakistan （without priority）

I recall even DPP members have a lot of undisclosed investments in China. I wouldn't be surprised if they owned property there. That would actually give a market manipulation opportunity since they can keep saying they are going to go independent so they can keep the prices low and nab them up. After all those prices aren't gonna remain cheap for much longer even with all the threats of war. Esp in Xiamen.
