Trump: U.S. to announce ‘major tariff’ on pharmaceuticals soon​

The U.S. is going to announce “very shortly a major tariff on pharmaceuticals,” Trump said at a National Republican Congressional Committee dinner.

According to the president, the tariffs will cause drug companies to “leave China” and other manufacturing hubs and “come rushing back into our country.”

Trump has previously floated the idea of tariffs of 25% or higher on pharmaceuticals.

The only thing China sells is raw materials and they go to India not the US lol.

Zero tariffs is not going to solve US trade weaknesses, the only possible real way to reduce the US trade deficit is the voluntary cut of the number of traded items to the US.

I have A Modest Proposal... America should naturally reduce the number of its citizenry. Less people = Less demand = Less consumption = Less deficit.

It's a win-win situation for the whole world.

Has anyone seen this video on the build quality of the BYD Shark? Basically they say it's so robust and over-engineered that it's bad. Read the comments and nearly all of them are positive for the BYD Shark by this video's review. Given that depending what country you get one, a $30k or $60K price point beats its American counterparts but they seem to want its quality to match its price in order for it to be a good vehicle. There's comment about how the BYD Shark is a Trojan Horse making competitors think they'll have to copy the build quality because it's so good. Yeah I'll understand that if they believe a Western copy would cost them a lot more to match it and couldn't compete. Can't claim the BYD Shark was stolen and a cheap version of theirs.
