At a closed meeting with the RSPP, Putin spoke about the points of no return of new territories
Russian President Vladimir Putin said in the closed part of the RSPP congress that the recognition of Crimea as part of the Russian Federation, as well as the autonomy of the Luhansk and Donetsk republics, could have prevented the start of the SVO. Participants in the meeting told Kommersant special correspondent Andrei Kolesnikov about this.
According to the interlocutors, now the talks on the Ukrainian settlement are about the fact that the territories under the control of the Russian army cannot be transferred to Ukraine. Moscow may also demand that Crimea, Sevastopol, the LPR, DPR, Kherson and Zaporizhia regions be recognized as Russian. If this happens in the near future, Russia will not lay claim to Odessa and other territories that currently belong to Ukraine, the participants of the congress conveyed the president's words to a special correspondent of Kommersant.
