Now I'm genuinely worried about the times when Macron met with Xi.
My daughter's art teacher is living in Republic of Australia. Fun fact her husband is Korean minority ethnicity with his mum from South Korea and dad from North Korea, met and married in Dandong across the Yalu River so for them they'll probably be like "oh no not this shit again".
I'm curious if all North Korean migrants in China automatically also get the Korean minority ethnicity thing or if that guy had some special circumstances. I'm pretty sure South Koreans can't claim it.

It could be intentional -- break up US empire so the next administration cannot rebuild it even if it wants to.
US is suffering from imperial over-extension. And de-dollarization is happening ever since US financial war against Russia -- making dollar suspect as a reserve currency. It's imperative to get the deficit down to prevent the collapse of dollar, hence the establishment of DOGE and the brutal and crude cut of the expenditures -- similar to what Musk has done to Twitter. Any delicacy goes out of window when the alternative is financial collapse, the consequence of which out-weights any suffering or injustice done to the individuals.
American Empire is one thing that US can no longer affords -- hence Trump proposes 8% cut yearly until defense expenditure is reduce by approximately half. But he has only 4 years, and very likely the next administration can reverse what actions he took today. Hence if he make enemies of so called allies, they will be less amendable to re-form the alliance when the next administration comes in. At that point, US no longer has the military and financial preponderance, and collective popular wills of the 'allies' will very likely prevent the reformation of the 'collective west'.
This is just my hypothesis, and very much the best case interpretation of the competence of the Trump administration. He may well be the idiot that he appears to be.
If Trump could fuck over majority white countries like Denmark, Canada, and Ukraine, why do the Wanwanese think they are so special? You literally are just Chinese with a propensity to cuck.
