If you have actually been paying attention to India's progress on the CATS program, you'll be able to tell that that isn't a mockup and is indeed the ground test prototype. As it looks completely different than the mockups that have been shown before.
Here are images of it undergoing ground tests, with first flight coming soon.

I think it's disingenuous to try and mock India for something that is actually a real prototype. Yes the AMCA model is just a mockup, but not the CATS prototype that was shown at the airshow.

We must admit, the CATS warrior is so far India's most and first impressed military project!
Does this indicate India's defense industry is becoming more and more mature, at least in terms of UAVs?

Is English the language norm in Indian military?

India is a nation of many languages, so English provides a common language in theatres where those languages intersect, including the military. There is a class element to this as well, with English proficiency concentrated amongst wealthier, educated and professional classes. That English plays a considerable role in India's national culture was a source of great consternation for Indian nationalists both before and after independence. Gandhi once wrote that it is the English-knowing Indians who have enslaved India.

Russia offers India its most advanced Su-57 stealth fighter jet

Even at the time I did not think that the collapse of FGFA was the end of Su-57 for India. I think there are reasonable prospects that India will choose to acquire it in some form, eventually. The domestic industry has set a tight schedule these next few years for production of LCA Mk. 1A and development milestones for both Mk. 2 and AMCA. If progress slips, the import lobby will pounce and Rafale and Su-57 are the leading contenders that await in the wings.

Making the aircraft in India, with a full transfer of technology, will ensure that production and maintenance will not be affected by Western sanctions on Russia, the Rosoboronexport spokesperson told reporters
If India falls for the "full ToT" meme once again...

I just hope they understand it's just marketing. So they avoid feeling cheated when it doesn't happen.

It is not disingenuous to call out obvious dishonesty. If they have called the AMCA mockup a prototype, then it is fair to assume they they are doing the same with the CATs Warrior. They have already been caught being dishonest. So it is up to them to prove the doubters wrong, not for the doubters to be criticized.

The CATS at Aero India is literally a mockup.

The thing has never flown at any rate.

More than enough reason to doubt it until first flight. And even then you can still doubt because of things like Saras which flew 20 years ago on imported turboprops but was never produced.
