I was on one of the Tesla subreddits awhile ago. Apparently some former engineers said Musk has no idea what he's doing with FSD, just doubling down on vision and refusing to ever add LIDAR to it, and making his engineers keep on adding more lines of code to cover as much as edge cases as possible for each version then releasing it with hardly much testing done.

No wonder it's hot garbage all this time.
