But we still hate jeets more. In fact, if there is a commonality between all east and southeast asians in the US it is this.
The defining difference is that asians are not willing to go to prison, to be shot, or have their livelihoods upended for a political ideal. This has bad effects, however if a separate asian identity arose in the US this would be a net negative to China.
Blacks had nowhere else to go, and for other immigrants their home countries are likely such sh*tholes that they would never return once past the border.

No, all that indicates are that Asians are the best citizens of any society due to millenia and genetic memory of Confucian conditioning of being law abiding prosocial human beings adopting the theme of the society they inhabit. That asian americans are self hating is more a reflection of how much Anglo societies position themselves as being a white supremacist culture committed to ensuring asians never surpass them. Everything asian in anglo and by extension western society must be viewed through an insecure anglo lens otherwise individuals will be drawn to asian culture, philosophy, art, thought and eventually become more and more sinocised. Thorsten Pattberg raises a good point of how western supremacists always try to rebrand asian concepts and inventions into western terms and labels so that the west can claim ownership.
The core fear of anglos is asian competitiveness - harder working, smarter and more in number, leading to the natural end state of outcompeting any rivals in any setting.

Seriously though, I don't think Chinese companies should invest any more in the US. The mutts know what they're doing, relentlessly "de-risking" while asking for one-sided Chinese investment, it's just more collateral to seize when war breaks out.
