Speaking to NBC at a campaign stop in Philadelphia, Trump said that he had made the decision “in my mind,” and that “nobody knows” his choice yet. “They’ll be there” at the debate in Atlanta, he continued, adding that “We have a lot of people coming” to the CNN-hosted showdown.

The former president said that he would announce his choice “right around the convention,” referring to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on July 15. “Maybe a little before, but could be at the convention,” Trump said. “But we’ll have some great people.”

It won't be a black or brown person for sure considering that half his base are likely at least closet racist. I don't think it will be someone that has been too loud who would take the limelight off Trump or be a potential threat to his sons/daughter running. So would be unlikely Cotton or Rubio or JD Vance type. Won't be someone that once challenge him either. So likely the most potential are "nobodies" on the list but looks professional without being odd(Pence). I'd pick someone like North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum from the potentials that been mention
