This is where you get the "No True Scotsman" fallacy coming from these democracy aficionados, in reality nationalists for their own countries which happen to be democracies. They start to categorise between 'liberal democracies', 'illiberal democracies' and in truie medieval papal states fashion, excommunicating democracies which are geostrategically opposed to them: 'Russia isn't a real democracy but ukraine which hasn't had an election since the war is a real democracy". If you look closer, western style 'liberal democracies' are in reality oligarchies and plutarchies who prefer to be the eminence grise ie power behind the throne.
reminder that it was democratic countries that threatened Georgia for democratically electing to push a law banning foreign interference. Reminder that it was a leader of a democratic country that told the ICC that the ICC was meant for africans and Putin, not white people.
If that's the case the CPC should be extremely worried given how endemic tax evasion is. Fapiao are national security.

I read a comment in another article from an American who thought that Western tanks were so good that they didn't need these modifications mocking Russia for having to do this for their tanks.
It's fascinating to me how these small commercial drones have changed warfare. The mighty M1 Abrams with a reputation of being invulnerable before... now exposed by a simple adult toy. No need for expensive top-down attack anti-tank missile systems... They ain't going to easily write books about it because this tactic was a complete surprise and wasn't thought up by the West. If this wasn't employed in another small regional war first, the US would've been the first victim of such an attack and would've been taken completely by surprise because this wasn't even on their radar. That's why the US is behind when it comes to drone technology.
I remember reading a book when I was younger about tank design. There was a lot of emphasis on angles because nearly all attacks on tanks then were seen from ground level. Depending on the angle, it would increase the thickness of the armor. It was very important in the calculus of tank design. Now all that is thrown out the window because of drones. In future tank design will they have to increase armor thickness from all other angles besides just the front now thus increasing the weight affecting the performance of the tank? Will these ugly bird cages now be a part of how tanks look from now on?
When I was a kid there was a Japanese anime movie I watched where the crew of a space ship crashed landed on an planet that had an ancient alien civilization on it. The only thing left working was its defense system which was launching thousands of head-sized orb swarming drones at a time. These drones exploded on impact or they would open up turning into metal razor jaws where they would clamp down on any body appendage they can grab and then explode or they would deploy a tether-like tongue to wrap around the neck pulling the head in and clamping down with it metal jaws and then exploding. The whole movie was an action-laced fight for survival. I can see that coming minus the razor jaws of course.
Unfortunately a lot of ignorant westoids still believe hollywood slop and that the western military industrial complex is truly best in the world and not just overpriced crap.
Like they still think for example that one american aircraft carrier will make China run in fear when probably a few hypersonic missiles and drones turn it into a very expensive paperweight. They said this crap about the Abrams until Russians exposed it.
In Boxing/MMA we call fighters who are good at fighting weak opponents Can-crushers. They look very impressive from a record point of view but when they come across any equal opponents they get exposed fast since they were only good at crushing cans. Thats what a lot of western military is like these days.

I also want to share the below study, which finds that Easterners are more risk intolerant but more willing to accept ambiguous conditions than their Westerner counterparts in the gain domain. In the loss domain, however, Easterners and Westerners have a similar attitude toward risk and ambiguity, which has interesting implications for the TW scenario.
