An attachment for the Russian GP-25 grenade launcher, designed to destroy drones. Russian gunsmiths have developed a device for the GP-25 Koster under-barrel grenade launcher that allows you to effectively hit drones at close range.
The extension insert is inserted into the grenade launcher and is designed for a 12-gauge hunting cartridge loaded with buckshot. The device can be used with Kalashnikov assault rifle grenade launchers with a caliber of 5.45 mm and 7.62 mm; when used, the effective range of destruction of drones can reach up to 50 meters.
The grenade launcher insert allows you to successfully hit FPV drones at close range and eliminates the need to carry an additional shotgun

Exercises of the Russian Pacific Fleet, repelling an attack by UAVs and sea drones. Fifteen ships of the Russian Pacific Fleet conducted an exercise to combat unmanned boats and UAVs in Peter the Great Bay. In the exercises, a Russian experimental naval aviation UAV was used as a mock enemy, which can take off and land on the helicopter deck of a ship. UAVs and unmanned boats simulating naval drones were hit from standard AK-630 and AK-630M anti-aircraft artillery systems, as well as from Kord and DShK heavy machine guns. It is worth noting that it would be more expedient to conduct the exercises at night, since ships are most vulnerable at this time of day. The corvettes “Sovershenny”, “Gromky” and “Rezkiy”, the large anti-submarine ship “Admiral Panteleev”, large landing ships, small anti-submarine ships and other ships of the Pacific Fleet took part in the exercise to repel attacks by unmanned vehicles.

Would be great to see something like the AKDAS UBS-12 Gen 3 Under Barrel 12Ga Shotgun... Still nice to have one shot but multiple would be way better.

Master key types like this suffer heavy weight and awkward ergonomics. It’s part of why despite being around since the late 1970s almost nobody has adopted it. The U.S. probably the one country that would, instead developed a new system the M26 rather than go with the established master key system of an M4A1 with a M870 derivative.
To understand the issues the Russian modern pump action shotgun is the RmB 93 in 12 gauge. That mounted to an AK12 would likely add 600mm to the 922mm of the AK12. Translation that rifle is roughly 5 foot long. That gives you an 8 round shotgun magazine.
Knights Armament company when they designed their version to mount to the M4A1 to keep the length near that of M4A1 they cut the magazine capacity to 3 rounds. Which as a breaching weapon is fine. The additional 5.7 lbs left much to be desired.
The U.S. Army wanted more capacity and lighter weight that resulted in a magazine fed straight pull shotgun weighing 3 lbs.

The Mi-35M helicopter fires at the drone from an NPPU-23 installation with a GSh-23L double-barreled aircraft cannon with a 23 mm caliber. The GSh-23L aviation cannon is liquid-cooled, which allows firing in long bursts without high-speed air flow blowing onto the gun; the GSh-23L's rate of fire is 3,400 rounds per minute. Reportedly, a total of 15 maritime drones were destroyed in the Black Sea, but only one was shown on video.

The Russian Tula Research and Production Association "Strela" has developed the kamikaze drone "Strela", it is already in the Russian troops. Thanks to its foldable design, the drone can be transported already charged and ready for use. The drone can overcome electronic warfare systems. The maximum flight range of a drone with a combat load of 3 kg is about 35 km; tests have already confirmed the drone’s operating distance of up to 24 km. The drone is equipped with a remote charge activation system. The drone can also be launched by hand if the charge weight does not exceed 1.5 kg. When using a drone as a reconnaissance aircraft, the flight time is about 1.5 hours. The weight of the Strela UAV in ready-to-use form is up to 7 kg, the price is not reported.

Testing of Russian cartridges against drones with caliber 12/70 "Interception" of the Tekhkrim company. The Russian company Tekhkrim presented new “Interception” cartridges designed to intercept drones. The tests were shown by journalist Alexander Rogatkin. Anti-drone cartridge 12/70 caliber, has 6 lead segments connected by Kevlar thread, the cartridge device is on the screen. When firing this cartridge, a strong Kevlar thread is revealed, which, when it hits a target, instantly gets tangled in the drone and disables it. The maximum diameter of the opened net of the Intercept cartridge is one meter; the net opens completely at a distance of 15-20 meters from the barrel cut. This solution will be especially effective against FPV drones, which have begun to attack infantry. According to the manufacturer, the effective firing range of the cartridge is up to 100 meters. Russian mechanics told about a British-made Ukrainian armored personnel carrier FV104 “Samaritan”; the armored personnel carrier was abandoned by the crew. This example was restored for the museum. The FV104 armored personnel carrier was developed in 1976 in Britain and is considered rare, with only 100 units produced. The transporter is developed on the basis of the British FV101 Scorpion tank and has a crew of 2 people. The FV104 has no weapons; it is equipped with four smoke grenade launchers. The vehicle can transport 4 wounded on stretchers and two medics. The armored vehicle was modernized for evacuation purposes, including receiving mine protection, which increases the protection of the crew. The 190 horsepower engine is installed in the front right side of the armored personnel carrier. The maximum speed on the highway is 72 km/h, the range is 480 km. Details in the video.

Homemade Russian air defense with 3 PKT machine guns. Russian military personnel showed homemade anti-aircraft guns designed to combat drones and work on ground targets. One of the installations consists of three 7.62-mm PKT machine guns and is equipped with an electric trigger; each machine gun has 350 rounds of ammunition. The second installation is equipped with four Ak-47 assault rifles, 7.62 mm caliber. A homemade air defense installation is being tested; it is planned to equip the installations with thermal imagers and night vision devices.

The Russian army received unsinkable boats; a total of 40 have been delivered so far. In the video you can see how the military is testing a boat from Rostov designers from the Kulibin Club; the boats are resistant to small arms fire and to ammunition dropped from drones. The boat is designed for landing on an unequipped shore and operation in severe weather conditions. The boat can be used with wave heights of up to 2 meters, at a distance from the shore of no more than 12 nautical miles. The weight of the fully equipped boat is 520 kilograms, the carrying capacity is up to 892 kilograms, the boat’s engine power is 130 horsepower. Due to the fact that the boat is filled with special foam, the boat is virtually unsinkable and can easily withstand shrapnel and bullet damage. The very shape of the boat is made specifically so as not to raise a large wave and make less noise. The low-density polyethylene from which the boat is made is a high-strength elastic material; all holes and holes in it can be easily repaired right on the spot. The bottom of the boat is divided into sections, each compartment is a sealed space, so if there is a hole, water will not occupy the entire space and the craft will not sink or lose speed.
