She’s a professor, well colour me utterly surprised. If she was one, I thought the US economy wouldn’t have been in the trouble it is now. But then again, the government department is lead by ideologs, not people with real brain power but I am having a lot of trouble believing that Yellen is someone that has real intellectual capability given her tendency to go for the lowest common denominator (which is bag China instead of well using proper negotiation) unless she is simply too old for the jobProf Yellen is a professor. People like that, have integrity, you have to in order to teach young people.
What Janet Yellen is not, she is not a politician, or a lawyer, unlike the rest of them, Gina, Tony and Jake the snake.
I think the PRC leadership understands that.
Yellen could say anything, and politburo will not really believe her, if they do not want to.
The Chinese have no illusions about the Americans, but with Yellen, the Chinese have no illusions about this person either, she is trying to be someone she is not.
All those odd ball things she has to say, remember this is a professor who will fail you if say crap like that. I never heard anyone say important stuff without any conviction at all.
Yellen can deliver the message, but everyone knows she does not believe in what she is saying, unlike those other three.

If I had to guess what it is, I'd guess it's some cheese. The greastest cultural divide between French food and Chinese palates has got to be weird rare stinky cheeses that the French covet but the Chinese think are disgusting.
