Incidentally, the Miao/Hmong (as well as various other ethnic groups in southern China and southeast Asia), claim descent from Chiyou in their origin myths, with the sagacious Chiyou leading them to safety in southern China after their defeat by the savage tribes of the Huang and Yan emperors.
