The US failed to successfully prevent and shelter its only remaining full-ally in the Middle East, Israel, from the attacks, coming from the biggest regional power, landing on its own territory, in a kind of a historical precedent, and military assets, plain and simple. Also failed to provide any intention for retaliation for it, so, another box crossed in the "classic imperial collapse" checklist. This one dealing with perceived worth of the alliances with the US (in terms of intent to protect, how far does it go, etc) + basic perception of the US overall capability and power projection in such regions.

The moment when drones are up above Israel in massive numbers like this and the Israelis failed to ensure that these drones are down the moment they appeared in Israel means that the myth that the Iron dome amongst others is the end all and be all in terms of protection means is broken. This ensures that moving forward that Israel cannot pretend that they are invincible. Leaving aside any talk about Karma (of which Israel has much coming in abundance depending on who one asks), but since the airspace has been breached this much by this initial exchange and the territory of Israel is this small and given the stockpiles of the west have been heavily depleted in Ukraine and most importantly is that Iran does have a good idea where their military assets are, I wonder how safe is Israel really cause this is quite frightening when one think about it. Even I didn’t believe it is possible for such a retaliation to take place so I am intrigued as to how this will eventually proceed moving forward

Why this is a big deal​

Let's say someone owns the domain name "NetfliTwitter.com." Why would they own that domain name? Because if X is automatically changing anything that includes "Twitter.com" to "X.com," then that means posting "NetfliTwitter.com" on X would make it appear in posts as "Netflix.com," the popular movie streaming service. And if a user clicked the linked "Netflix.com" text that appears in that post, it would really take them to "NetfliTwitter.com." Because while X is changing the text that the user wrote, the URL it links and directs to remains the same as the user posted.

This is a dream scenario for someone looking to steal passwords through phishing campaigns.

This is my guess for now.

1. Nothing good will come out of this. The Hamas attack on Israel was back in October, that was six months ago, and nothing has improved, in terms of security for all. Wars have a tendency to expand. Seems very opened ended right now.

2. What is unique about this, is that this is really a sideshow. The American like to think that China is the main challenger to them, and that Russia is just a sideshow. Israel with a population of around 15 million, definitely is a sideshow. That is why this is unique, because this sideshow is the main show because of Jewish Americans influence.

3. China should sit back and watch, do a full retreat, keep imploring these people to talk about ceasefire and maybe peace, while working on the business deals worldwide.

4. If history is any guide, this is on the verge of World War 3, but with World War 1 and World War 2, not everyone got involved. The aftermath of World War 1 and World War 2, empires got destroyed.

So we go back to point 1 again, nothing good will come out of this.

Elon will make a couple of edge jokes for like 1.5 month and people will forgot about this stuff ever happening.
Twitter was kind of bad pre Elon and it has become significantly more worse over time post Elon. Its like 40% of twitter are onlyfans thot bots. How is such a thing even possible when he closed off the open API only god knows. Maybe they are using the same sort of AI amazon used, just Another Indian spamming those links.

why would US care about friendly government or some pipeline?.

Because a friendly government serves your local interests. The pipeline brings Central Asia energy to the Arabian Sea for American exploitation. Enron went bankrupt in Dec 2001, shortly after pulling the US into war. First major goal of the war was obliterated right then and there.

Israel says it intercepted 99% of the drones and missiles by Iran. According to Israel, there was a total of more than “300 launches, including 170 drones, 20 cruise missiles, and 120 ballistic missiles”. Pretty impressive if Israel and U.S. downed 99% of them.

Iran said “ after tonight’s attack, the matter can be deemed concluded”, unless there’s further violence.

Just the Hamas rockets caused so much damage inside Israel in the past 6 months that large groups of citizens fled the country.

Half a million Israelis fled by early December. That's 5% of the population gone in 2 months.
