I actually chuckle as Japanese result...

It's like they refuse to accept their glorious past of asia top dog is already gone and there are no one to blamed but themselves.
Although, the result from US, Malaysia and India are actually quite suprisingly higher than expected for China.
Many Indians are actually very disillusioned with the direction that India is going in. It's very hard to be tough, or even care about international affairs, when you're struggling to pay rent to landlords. And in India, landlords are the literal lords of the land, feudal lords.

It also estimates that 36 per cent of India’s tenant farmers were completely landless and 56 per cent owned less than one hectare. Across the country, over 20 per cent of land holdings are farmed by tenant farmers who cannot access facilities like credit and other support services.

A large portion of Indians still live as they would in feudal times, paying tithe to their lord who grant them the privilege of backbreaking labor on their estate. When they compare China to what they have, are they going to be happy?

Many of the Jai Hinds are very out of touch 'intellectuals' in the big cities (yes yes I know). They neither know nor care about the plight of the average Indian.

My knowledge is limited, but Modi reminds me of Erdogan a bit too much. Same religious-nationalist politics, supapowa 202X goals, policies leading to extreme inequalities, interferences with foreign conflicts for the sake of influence, ...

Indian economy might not perform well if I am right.

Downtown Denver appears to have taken homelessness to another level.

According to the New York Post, Denver police say an open-air bar that also rents out tents for prostitutes has popped up in the city’s downtown where there is an encampment at 23rd and Champ streets.

“We’re hearing there was an open bar, sales of alcohol, things like that,” Denver Police Patrol Division Chief Aaron Sanchez told CBS Colorado on Monday while on site.

“We have officers looking into that.”

The city itself has received “numerous complaints” about the encampment, saying pedestrians are being forced to walk in the street to pass it.

One of the tents appears to have been transformed into a speakeasy with numerous couches, rugs, tables, lounge chairs, umbrellas and Astroturf.

It was littered with dozens of empty liquor bottles displayed on secondhand dressers and bookcases when police did their inspection earlier in the week.

Sanchez said complaints have included the allegation that couches at the streetside bar and the surrounding tents are being rented out for prostitutes.

Meghan Shay, from the homeless aid group Step Denver, told CBS an encampment serving liquor would only worsen the city’s homeless problem.

Shay said a 2022 report on street mortality showed drugs and alcohol were responsible for 60% of homeless deaths.

According to the drop test guy, the Kunlun glass from China is better than the Corning Gorilla Glass.

Usually, when a car tire runs over the phone, the glass cracks, but not this time.

Okay, I got to admit, this cracks me up (no pun intended), about the glass on the Mate 60 Pro, and Huawei got rid of the American glass too from Corning.

I remember reading something, that some US politician was saying the usual, and he did not want Huawei to be even using glass from Corning. That US politician claimed that even the glass had a lot of IP, blah, blah, blah, America #1, cannot allow Huawei to use it. This was a few years ago, during the beginning and probably height of the US government vs Huawei 5G war.

In short, even the Gorilla Glass was banned from Huawei.

Now look at today. That is why I bring up the glass, they got rid of that too, and did not replace with an inferior product, and that shit is good! Seeing is believing.

Just a reminder, how bitter this US government vs Huawei 5G really was, and still is.

Bah!

:p

Retail is not the only good news in August.

Never again - the US repaid China with their "Pivot to China" policy:

She doesn't know she is the one who has been brainwashed. Her racist ranting makes her sound like a Jewess spreading antisemitism. She has no idea that someday she might be put into an internment camp.
Direct evidence of Americaan propaganda worked on their own people and now these people are in charge.

Okay, another idea ...

According to the drop test guy, Kunlun glass is exceptionally good.

But who makes Kunlun glass? None other than, you know who!

According to the drop test guy, this is the 2nd generation of it is the best glass on a cell phone.

Since Huawei is company that is under sanctioned, that means companies cannot do business with Huawei, under certain circumstances.

So how it that for some delicious irony. Maybe Huawei being under US sanctions certain companies will not dare buy this glass that is suppose to be better that Gorilla Glass, as they do not want to get punished. On the other hand, maybe Huawei would refuse to sell it?

It was those sanctions! White people have a saying. Be careful for what you wish for.

Bwahahahahahahahahahaaa!

It's kind of a shame that it's made by Huawei themselves, other manufacturers won't want to buy from their fiercest competitor. But it shows that Xiaomi, oppo etc should develop their own products rather than buying inferior American quality
