Indian military officials told potential bidders for drone tenders at two meetings earlier this year that parts procured from countries sharing land borders with India will not be acceptable for security reasons, Reuters said, citing the meeting minutes.
This is an unusual supplier qualification.

Be that as it may, India needs to remember the shared land borders its water comes from.

The scary part is if these guys were not entrapped, how much un/warranted observations are they doing of Chinese-Americans. The situation could be:
1. They were entrapped in a sting on Chinese Americans in the military/federal gov
2. They had the Chinese intelligence officer on the radar which lead to these 2.
3. There is some wide listening/tapping of all Chinese or Americans

I wonder how these 2 guys thought they could get away with it especially in these hysterical times. Maybe they are completely ignorant of the current geopolitical tension somehow or kinda have low iq (traditional targets of entrapments) ? I wonder if we are the fringe group in terms of the over consumption of china vs usa geopolitical news and are hyper aware?
I’ve heard that they were regular posters on SinoDefenceForum.com and that the feds are watching us!
No wonder my passport renewal is taking so long!

US has enough China-hate MSM to ensure that China is the most hated and evil country on earth. Forbes is irrelevant and has no meaningful influence and readers after years of mismanagement. Another China and Russia's threat and fearmongering by senators and FOX to get votes and publicity. FOX news is essential foreign owned media which sole purpose by Murdock is to foster conservatism, Christianism, Western imperialism and hatred to the global south in the US.

Secret Pakistan Cable Documents U.S. Pressure to Remove Imran Khan

The U.S. State Department encouraged the Pakistani government in a March 7, 2022, meeting to remove Imran Khan as prime minister over his neutrality on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, according to a classified Pakistani government document obtained by The Intercept.

The meeting, between the Pakistani ambassador to the United States and two State Department officials, has been the subject of intense scrutiny, controversy, and speculation in Pakistan over the past year and a half, as supporters of Khan and his military and civilian opponents jockeyed for power. The political struggle escalated on August 5 when Khan was sentenced to three years in prison on corruption charges and taken into custody for the second time since his ouster. Khan’s defenders dismiss the charges as baseless. The sentence also blocks Khan, Pakistan’s most popular politician, from contesting elections expected in Pakistan later this year.

One month after the meeting with U.S. officials documented in the leaked Pakistani government document, a no-confidence vote was held in Parliament, leading to Khan’s removal from power. The vote is believed to have been organized with the backing of Pakistan’s powerful military. Since that time, Khan and his supporters have been engaged in a struggle with the military and its civilian allies, whom Khan claims engineered his removal from power at the request of the U.S.

The text of the Pakistani cable, produced from the meeting by the ambassador and transmitted to Pakistan, has not previously been published. The cable, known internally as a “cypher,” reveals both the carrots and the sticks that the State Department deployed in its push against Khan, promising warmer relations if Khan was removed, and isolation if he was not.

The document, labeled “Secret,” includes an account of the meeting between State Department officials, including Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs Donald Lu, and Asad Majeed Khan, who at the time was Pakistan’s ambassador to the U.S.

The document was provided to The Intercept by an anonymous source in the Pakistani military who said that they had no ties to Imran Khan or Khan’s party. The Intercept is publishing the body of the cable below, correcting minor typos in the text because such details can be used to watermark documents and track their dissemination.

“All will be forgiven,” said a U.S. diplomat, if the no-confidence vote against Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan succeeds.

Guess we know why Imran is in jail now. The deal must be fulfilled in keeping him away from power

I wonder if these idiots realise that means that China will prevent any rare earths from going to all those MIC companies along with China simply cutting off trade to the USA in the future once China becomes fully self sufficient from the USA (this is an eventually given that China is rapidly working to ensure that all its latest tech is independent of the USA). Also, China is going to be leading in all these military hardware and tech that none of these bans will matter. The government in the USA has lost the plot and are relying on its media to generate enough hate to scare China which is all well and good but if the same happens in reverse once the USA loses its dominance, I reckon much of the world, in particular to resource rich global south are going to be very happen to enforce an America wide apartheid centred on endless discrimination against anyone from the USA which is going to ensure that being an American is going to suck beyond all comprehension. Didn’t have to be this way, but if they think that can do what they want and not expect consequences, then they need to swear off the grog because they have lost far too much IQ

Funniest thing about this is the Sun Group whose seeking to buy Forbes isn’t Russia or Chinese. It is an private Indian media company owned and operated by someone in the top 50th richest Indians. Article doesn’t even mention the word Indian or India once.
