The Chinese welcome the competition with the Collective West because you will strive to be better and challenge yourself, you never hear them complaint even if the US apply nefarious means. I being a Chinese knowing our history don't want the US to implode cause we can't replace the Americans, It's not in our blood, I'm afraid like what happen from the past, we might isolate ourself and become complacent, that's the danger the CCP seek to avoid.
And one more thing, Obama during his term offer the Chinese to share the burden of being a world cop by suggesting to form G2 and term it Chimerica, the Chinese refuse thus the Pivot to Asia was form and implemented. We from the Global South should be thankful IF China accept then god bless us all instead of one bully we have two and the suffering will endure to perpetuity.
