I'm not sure how long the US can remain the world's only superpower without a word-class manufacturing industry. China's manufacturing sector is as big as the US and EU combined. Also, America's policymakers are not as confident as a lone superpower at all, as their anxiety and paranoia about China betray.
The hypocrisy stinks to high heaven.
A real superpower doesn't need to declare it is one. The absence of opposition would speak volumes. If it's being opposed and challenged without being able to meaningfully retaliate, is it really a superpower?

It's not so much China became a superpower already, but rather US lost the status of superpower over the past decade, primarily due to shift in concentration of power heavily but not solely driven by China's rise. I would venture to claim it is more accurate to claim China and the US are the sole great powers of today, with EU falling short due to its lack of unity and Russia declining to the position of being the strongest of the regional powers.
A superpower commands great authority and respect. it does not allow its officals to have this long journeys often.
Saudis have more trust in there secured walls than any meeting in DC thats why they prefer US officials visit them often them often and it is not about Israel. the more visits the less pictures to media.
its that trust and culture once you lose that than all past partnerships are of nothing.
Don’t forget they are also incompetent nationalists. Then they wonder no one takes them seriously on the internet when they throw jin hind tantrums.
