I feel bad for those operating Export abrams like Aussies and Saudi.
Raving about DU is just cope. It isn't some magic arrow-stopping material, is just what the americans had at hand on the cheap to increase the armor density without a corresponding increase in weigth.
Since then, the US has developed replacements for the DU with the same performance than the DU armor, precisely for export customers and it was offered to Greece and Turkey and was eventually picked up by Australia for their Abrams.
Regardless of this, with access to the array itself there is a good chance the Russians can make an educated guess of the performance of it with a DU plate as well, unless you really want to believe the material to be some kind of Wakanda Vibranium no one else has figured out instead of not using it being a deliberate choice by everybody else not wanting their soldiers to breathe uranium dust.
Funny, that wasn't what you and a few other pro-Ukranians around the internet were saying when the delivery of M1(and the Leo2 and Challenger 2) was first announced. I distinctly remember phrases like how the M1 was going to wipe out every Russian position out there. I mean, if you really really want to talk about fanboys.
Also, ironic how that logic works as there was a similar mockery when a T-90A was spotted in the US.

I don't think we should celebrate any vehicular destruction in times of war tbh, because such occasions are fully unsurprising and extremely natural. Though strategic assets destruction or something that could be "unexpected" in nature like the destruction of a Russian AWACS few weeks ago, ought to be analysed further

Part of the issue is that we now have a bunch of people trying to downplay and deny their own hype for certain weapons systems.
Dozens of posts and tweets on how the Leopards, Challengers and Abrams we're going to drive all the way to Sebastopol and mocking anyone who tried to qualify and put things into contexto with regards to their capability relative to the Russians
Now it turns out it's all outdated and irrelevant tech?
