They should be made more fashionable for export
Hydrogen-powered or electric hybrid chassis etc
This Soviet-style box cab appearance cannot be considered politically correct now

The 3rd pic is the indisputable proof that the 300mm rockets are also 4/pack, instead of 5.

Too bad, that's like 1/3 reduction in total rocket number vs PHL-03, in exchange for faster & more modular reload.

I'm thinking the 300mm modules are just to use up existing stocks, whilst 370mm will be the standard going forward.

It could just be for compatibility purposes, as saying "use up" suggests they're getting rid of 300mm rockets which I'm not sure is necessary as that'd leave a big gap between 122mm and 370mm.

I amthere will be further iterations of the tactical vehicle chassis. The pod based design is there to ease the operational requirements in terms of storage, transport, and future laumcher vehicle compatibility. Probably similar to GLMRS, ATACAMS and PrSM in design philosophy.

On a different note, the PHL 16 should probably get its own thread with regular updates. It is probably the single most relevant weapons system for PLAGF in an amphibious scenario.

Yes , it was 2007 date unknown
As part of PLZ05/PHL03 capability demonstration showing to the army leaders
Note that the officer left behind is still wearing the old Type 87 military uniform ,obviously he is the commander of the troop unlike generals from top

out of interest, where did you find that posted?

Because that particular "series" of separate images was something I compiled a while back and posted on this thread for ease of posting purposes, I'm interested in where else it may have popped up
