Read that, it's for purely battery electric cars between 300-400k RMB range. Don't waste my time if you don't know what you are talking about

Nio only sells pure EVs, so people will not compare Nio with gasoline BMW and Mercedes.

You wrote "Nio sales is more than that of Mercedes and BMW in the 300,000 rmb category." in response to

my original chart, which was for all auto sales above 500k.

And then, now you want to narrow it down to BEV sales between 300 to 400k RMB. That's not relevant to the original argument.

Lol, I think it's funny that they actually Chinese-named Cadillac LYRIQ to IQ-Lyric

Also note that the Q5 e-tron is something they made just for China, not related to the ICE Q5. It is based on the VW ID.6 (Also China-Market only), which is essentially a stretched Q4/ID.4

An interview with Polestar CEO, interesting insight into a Western EV company with Chinese ownership

Best line:
Let’s face it. China EVs did not become competitive or a threat to the OEMs of the world because of subsidies. They are technically competitive, highly competitive. That is what makes them a threat.

Things will only get worse for Western EV manufacturers once BYD introduces its high energy density lithium-iron-phosphate batteries.
I think BYD's current price cut is already anticipating future price reductions in the battery pack because of this technology.
Sorry, what exactly are you referring to?
