BYD's T25 and T31 getting put into action in Sichuan. We need more examples of this, electrification of engineering vehicles and heavy duty trucks used for various construction works

I didn't thought about this before but a concrete truck is a great option for electrification. Since worksites need to be relatively close to concrete plants, range is not a concern. One of the bigger positives of replacing fuel based heavy vehicles with NEVs within city limits is that the air quality should improve substantially as a result.

I can't remember where I heard/viewed the comment about Ute's in the West having a reprieve and that petrol /diesel versions can remain indefinitely. Is anyone else aware of the story.

It's so annoying and anxious-inducing driving behind such heavy vehicles on the road. Just seeing all that smoke blowing to my car (to me..) I can almost visualise a tiny part of my lungs dying off with each breath I take. I hate that, and I can't wait for NEVs finally replacing these death vehicles

China's auto exports jumped 33.2% YoY to over 1.32 million in Q1 of 2024, according to China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. Specifically, some 307,000 NEV were exported, up 23.8% YoY. In March alone, China's auto exports rose 37.9% YoY, and its NEV exports soared 59.4%..

China is on the way to hit new all time record in automobile exports this year.. beating its own record of 2023 year.
