Why Is The New Sinodefence Contain So Much Less Information??

I have always checked up on things about the chinese military on sinodefence.com periodicly, but today when i checked again. I found that the website has adapted another new look, but much of the information that were once on the web are no longer avaliable. Information such as history/sub unit of different group armies of the PLA, small arms used by the PLA etc. I just want to know what happened. It has been like this for a extend period of time already.

It's not lost. All the equipment information are listed under "conventional weapons" near the top. However, the information on small arms are no where to be found.... And I myself do not prefer the new layout.

That makes 3 of us. Although there also seems to be less information about in general due to people outside of china not reacting as surprised and curious as they once were. Not only that, As new hardware, which majority of people are interested in recently came out already, might take years for more to come out. eg. WZ10

On a side note, One shouldn't overlook hardware, yet it is talked about and regarded too much for the difference it makes.

but what about the information about all the group armies, naval divisions and like airforce divisions etc... they are all missing even though the old site had it.

seriously guys, what happen to all that information that use to be there??? Does the new platform operate on a server that does not have enough hard drive to store them or something????

these pages are out of date now and currently being re-written. The PAP section has already been restored

that is a very good news to hear! Sinodefence has been my only website for correct information on the chinese defence systems and devices etc.. The chinese websites/forums are either too pro or against chinese military... its just super inaccurate compare to this site.

I think it'd be nice if an archive of the old site is preserved and made accessible, so visitors can compare "Sino Defense 2009" versus "Sino Defense 1999" to see the changes and progression of the PLA.
