Why Burma@Myanmar spent Billion$ for Self Defence.

According to the post of Colzaw68...Should Burma use billions dollar for self defense.
In my opinion ,We are not president,prime minister or minister of defense(executive level to state) so we have no top secret information or data ,facts to solve complicated problems.
Burma have many insurgents& ethnic armed groups or militias .Myanmar also saturated between two super power countries and her geopolitics and regional politics ,geoeconomic ,geodefence are pressured to spent $$$$$$.
For counter insurgency.,
it is not big problem..anytime,Myanmar forces can terminate insurgents easily but Myanmar Force not terminated cz of all are people of Union of Myanmar.(some media said soldiers killing civilians ..all battle or wars have victims so we must keep peaceful mind to avoid killing field).
I believe that the world leading super country write the story for us and Small countries running on their tracks.
So.I just believe that the best weapons for self defense is peaceful mind ...

Peaceful Mind is a good Philosophy but not in practice. Remember the United State and France threaten to ignore Myanmar's sovereignty not too long ago during the delta flooding.

I would like to explain about peaceful mind...
According to the Einstein theory....action = reaction .
If you believe to peaceful mind is best weapons ... believing is receiving.
But westerner believe on seeing is believing.
