The moderators were (pro) Taiwanese from the last I heard. It would be sort of weird running a site talking about all the advancements the Chinese military is going through when you're pro-Taiwan. It's a contradiction and that probably played on how the site was operated and not viable.
Don’t know where you get that idea. One of them constantly advocates nuking the island.

I was in there way back I think before the J-20 unveiling. The moderators then were heavily pro-Taiwan. One of their moderators threaten to ban a friend of mine just for stuff he posted on other forums. That moderator was heavily pro-Taiwan. When they started getting picky on who can join the site, it was all the same moderators.

CDF was/is very professional and certainly not biased towards Taiwan.

At this point I think most forums are dying a slow death.
Cdf had a terrific resource, its orbat subforums, where the detail of info of just what each pla unit has was unmatched on the english speaking internet.
It would be a massive loss if that trove of info is now lost.
If indeed cdf doesn't come back, i hope its members would consider coming here and getting a special section of sdf for orbat info, to continue their work here.
