Not many people have read the comic, so I recommend going out and buying that first. It's $19.95 if you live in the US. Really good stuff, the art is amazing, uses a lot of color and stuff. But the movie has been getting good reviews, so I'm definitely seeing it.

I really want to see this movie myself. I might be getting to see it sometime later today.

As far as the plot, from what I understand it takes place in a Dystopian Britian in around 2020, where the government has become an all knowning, all seeing evil facist bla bla bla. Anyway, a 'hero' arises from this nightmare who saves a young girl from a trio of government agents with some flashy dagger moves. Think 1984 meets Zoro and you got it. Lots of alusions to a famous historical figure called Guy Fawkes.

So far, all the reviews of it have been glowing, except for one. (Which ironicaly enough came from the BBC. Guess there is something to be said of 'target audience' and of all things critisized Natile Portman's accent.)

Remember, remember. The Fifth of November. :D
