Things that really bother you

I thought I would start this thread to get off of my chest, little things happen on a daily basis, that really bother and annoy me:

Without further ado, every day little things that really get steam coming out of my ears:

1. Weak tea/coffee. Tea and/or Coffee should be strong, not some transparent brown fluid. I want my teeth to be stained brown, and my capillaries to contract and feel the caffeine.

2. Really weak handshakes drive me nuts. I hate it when I shake someone’s hand and it feels like a baby hand or a bunch of wet spaghetti...

3. People that do not look at me when they talks to me. I understand that working in a low paying retail store is not the summit of most people’s aspirations or abilities. But could you tear yourself away from your i-phone, and your Facebook page, could you at least look at me long enough to not drop all my change on the floor as you hand it to me?

Ahh……. thank you I feel better.

1. Drivers who don't signal when they change lanes.

2. Drivers behind you on a different lane who accelerate the moment you signal a lane change.

3. Drivers who tailgate you on the highway even though you're doing 20 km/h above the speed limit.

4. People who keep their dog on the balcony and leave it littered with poop.

5. People who don't hold the door for you when you're right behind them pushing a stroller.

6. Conversely, people with a stroller (or holding a young child) who think they own the roadway and/or try to cut in front of cars.

7. People who don't even acknowledge you when you hold the door for them.

8. Banks that keep telling you that you can apply for a higher credit card limit, even though you've already said no a hundred times.

I agree with this and what A.Mace. And some of what solarz posted.

A) Facebook. Facebook is for Girls!

2) Hugging anyone except my wife, kids & gran kids..don't hug me..I'm not that loveable.
3) Lazy people.
4) Substance abusers. Druggies alcoholics etc..
5) Moochers.
6) The way people dress these days Men and women. It's like that have no sense of decorum...yea I know they don't.
7) People that blame others for their mistakes rather than excepting responsibly for their poor decision making.

That's all for now.

I hate people in big box stores who leave their shopping cart in the middle of the aisle and go off to get something holding back everyone behind them... and they don't bother to hurry.

I hate it when I'm driving in an open lane and the next lane over is slow which then someone in that lane gets out merging into my lane ahead of me only to drive at the same speed as the slow lane.

This happens in Berkeley CA a lot but pedestrians walk onto the crosswalk during a red light and take their time crossing the street halting traffic that has the green light and they'll even stop to talk to friends they catch going the other way.

Homeless people who tell me Asians don't give money to the homeless then expecting me to give them money out of guilt. Yes that has happened to me on more than a few occasions. I was at McDonald's once and after placing my order right as a I pulled my wallet out to get money, an open hand from no where appeared between my face and my wallet. It was a homeless guy that wanted a handout.

People who don't flush public toilets after doing their business.

Mummified toilet seat.

People taking up precious cubicle spots to do stuff that they should really do at home.

People who don't wash their hands after being to one. (Seriously what is the point of everyone else washing theirs if you don't wash yours and then pull the door handle that everyone also has to touch to get out *grumble* *mumble*....)

People who washed their hands...then leave the tap on...

I had one guy who, after doing his business, and while I was the only other one in the same restroom in another cubicle - turned the lights off before he bolted off. He thinks it was funny - god forbid should I ever find him...

I talk about this in some thread, "What is said must be done. What's done, there must be a result".

I almost caused an accident this morning on the way to work. In Phnom Penh, Cambodia, most roads are small and bi-directional without a road-island. It's always one direction busier than the other, and vehicle from the busy direction always violate the double yellow line into the less busy lane. They (especially those scooter drivers) drive right into my car aggressively like say "I dare you to hit me!". Usually, drivers on the less busy lane just give way but this morning I didn't. And that almost cause a scooter rider to crash into another car. What really bother me is the selfishness of people.

I'm with you there. I hate it when I'm sitting at a coffee shop and some homeless or crazy guy walks in. This happens so often in the downtown area, especially during summer.

Popeye, you are on the mark.

1) Woo Hoo girls… Is this some desperate call for attention? Or is it just the mating call of the North American college girl?

2) Lazy people. Absolutely, and I will take it a step further. Here at the office young engineers are hired to begin their training and learn the trade. However, these young men do not want to work, do not want advice, and have a sense of entitlement that they should earn as much as senior engineers that have been in the business for 30-years+

3) The way people dress. Arhhhhhhh…..What is with all the Tattoos (I am not talking one or two small ones). But all over your body. Young boys dress like derelicts and young girls dressing like “street corner working girls”.

4) I cannot agree with you more on your item 7. All these people that blame everyone but themselves for their situation. It is so refreshing to find someone that is responsible for their own actions.

Thanks I feel better now.

PS: I won’t hug you when I meet you.
