Huitong is listing the "J-50" as a possible & unconfirmed designation for the SHENGAD. Seems like neither he nor Henri K. are entertaining the possibility of it being unmanned.

Perhaps the J-36 is meant to combine the air-to-air BVR capabilities of the J-20 with the air-to-ground versatility of the J-16. LOL.35+15 =50. Carrier capability confirmed!
is this called math method.35+15 =50. Carrier capability confirmed!
It's called numerology with PLAAF characteristics.is this called math method.
big brain moment
One possibility is that ShenGAD has both manned and unmanned versions. Tbh I think 草根 can overshoot sometimes (I think despite me being wrong about the 3 engine rumor being unlikely other aspects of the reveal vs his earlier claims show he doesn’t always get the details right).Update on weibo bloggers‘ opinions on SHENGAD
草根 still hasn't change anything about his teapot metaphor ,he claims the plane we saw is a UCAV, and there is a manned aircraft to come. He was so sure about it that it seem like he know some inside information.
Other bloggers seem to know nothing about it, including orca. Some of them asked 草根 in public common section but got no respond.
OedoSoldier doesn’t agree with草根, but his opinion seems to be based on inference rather than information. Here is his reasons.

Why can it be confirmed that there is a drone? 1. The twin engine is clearly designed for the use of drones on board ships; 2. The large nose is designed to accommodate the cockpit and a large number of sensors/avionics equipment, and the overall size is also very large to expand the capacity and increase the payload/fuel capacity. The unmanned mode is understandable, but it is not Shen 6's typical combat mode. The mass-produced unmanned wingman does not require such a huge size and dual deployment. Shen 6's design clearly considered the needs of the navy from the beginning, including the idea of using variable tail fins, which was clearly aimed at optimizing the landing
有人机 means manned aircraft, you literally translated wrong the most important phrase in his post.Update on weibo bloggers‘ opinions on SHENGAD

Oh no!I just fed it to a translator,it’s confusing how such error could happen.有人机 means manned aircraft, you literally translated wrong the most important phrase in his post.
