This is a google earth image of the naval base in Tripoli harbour. It shows several types of desrtoyer and 4 Foxtrot class SSK subs. Old subs, but i was wondering if there any other modern ones.

Anyone got any idea why there are C-130s here?

And heres a Libyan Tu-22 Blinder. Looks in pretty bad shape. This Libyan aircraft is one that particluary interests me becaus ei'm surprised Quaddafi managed to get hold of a long-range bomber. He could have used it on Italy and France if he had wanted to. Anyone got any idea how many he has?
