PLAN will import Czech's vertical launching 141 plane.

for the carrier program. Czech's 141 is similar to UK's Harrier.
China will try get the license production for this plane.
This plane is alot cheaper than SU-33 and domestic version aren't ready.
I will assume China will use its own avionic and engine, just want license production of its air frame.

Could You please enlighten us what on earth makes You think that China will buy a long-dead project from Yakovlev ... ????

And by the way ... the Yakovlev is Russian and has nothing to do with Czech's !

dead? it's still a supersonic fighter. remember China will use its own avionics and engine.

well czech has the license production tech of this plane, kind of like ukraine sold the blueprint and the early su-33 plane to china.

Dead, meaning the program was terminated. The only ones who own the Yak-141 is Yakovlev And why would the Czech Republic, a land-locked country be doing with a licence for a carrier-born naval aviation aircraft? And what are you talking about? The Ukrainians never sold the blueprints for the Su-33 to China? Ukraine has sold things like engine licences to China for tanks and aircraft etc. but nothing like an entire aircraft, especially an aircraft that they do not even operate or have anything to do with. The Admiral Kuznetsov is operated by the North Sea Fleet in Murmansk, not from Black Sea Fleet. Nothing you wrote made any sense at all. And why did you link a random youtube video of the Yak-41M from 1989? Is that supposed to be a source or something?

Just like to provide a head's up on this. So, when the PLAN rolls out this type of plane, so folks wouldn't get overly surprised.

Also, have vertical takeup has other values as well, like in the Taiwan conflict situation, if the airfield got damaged, having this type of plane will enhance its capability.

Sorry, but to be honest:

How would have the Czech's get hand on the blue-prints ??
What does the Ukraine have to do with this ??? ... Yakovlev is Russian as the engine maker of the Yak-141's powerplant
How shold or even would China "roll out this type of plane" without these plans ?? ... and esp. without the engine ??

Could You therefore just tell us what's Your "source" of this fairy-tale ???

So You are right ... I would be very much surprised if "the PLAN rolls out this type of plane", but it has the same propability like that China's next spaceship will be an Apollo derived system !

I think we should close this tread,

well, here's something I ran across. According to a Hongkong article. PLAN plans license produce the Yak-141.

Okay this is a mess SO here we go.
The YAK 141 was a prototype aircraft meant too develop a Super sonic Vtol fighter.
The Russian's first attempt was the Yak 36 (nato Codename Freehand) a proof of concept aircraft that led to the YAK 38 Forger neither aircraft were supersonic Like the Harrier. However The Forger had a lot of issues and never saw the Export nor production success of it's western counter.
there are a good number of differences between the harrier and Yak36, yak38 & yak141. the Harrier family uses a variation of Thrust vectoring where in the Pegasus Engine create massive thrust and said thrust is channeled through nozzles positioned along the aircraft this produces prodigious heat and can melt most surfaces it also Burns gas like it's going out of style. this also produces a bad side effect dubbed a "hiccup" where in the Jet takes in some of it's own hot gases and stalls.
The yak Series all use variation of this concept of Vtol where in the aircraft has more then one jet engine. these secondary and more offten tertiary Engines are called lift jets. in the Yak 38 the main turbo fan vectors i's rear nozzle to assist in lift and then back too it's normal position to generate foreword thrust however when in lift more trap doors on the top and bottom of the hull open exposing the lift jets ( 2 in 38 and 141) that is only used too lift the aircraft.* this mechanism's produces even more heat then the Pegasus on the harrier and burns even more gas!. it's also even more prone too "hiccups". the amount of available lift meant a light payload and high ambient temps caused it too be totally stripped of weapons just for flight in hot and humid conditions the lift fans refuse too start. an oxygen booster was added too the Intake too cure that issue on the yak38.
the YAK141 had her own issues. once more Yak used a combination of a lift and lift/cruise engines, the main engine swiveled it's nozzle like the 38 but this nozzle has an afterburner. trouble is said afterburner has too be on too lift the aircraft ( there go ship's decks and road surfaces. Yak also had bad timing there Project was nearing production after the fall of the Iron curtain. even the concept improved Yak41M and YAK43 production aircraft no longer had a buyer at home and it seemed on one wanted it.

* The F35B use a lift Fan system that is often confused for the YAK141's system the two lift systems are different although Lockheed Martin did consult YAK when designing there system.
A lift jet is just that a Jet engine Mounted vertically apposed too horizontally in the case of the yak lift system turbojet's the oldest known form of Jet engine
A lift Fan is more akin too a set of Contra rotating Turboprops control is granted through thrust vectoring nozzles

Antimatter, as he always has, grossly underestimates Chinese military technological capability. The bottomline is this aircraft is obsolete.
