PLAAF white paint

Can anyone tell me more about white PLAAF fighter schemes? It seems to me that around the late 80's is when that paint started to appear, maybe new production, maybe after overhauls, I don't know. I've seen pics of J-6's in the colour but am wondering if J-5's or J-5A's were ever used operationally in the white colour. And if anyone has any pics of a J-5 or J-5a in this colour that would be great.

Also are there any of the J-5 series still in service? I have read on the net that up 200 may still be around, but I doubt it....

Here's a JJ-5 in white paint:


Since the J-5/J-5A has been retired, it's unlikely that you'd see any in service with the white paint. But the JJ-5's are still in use.
