It's interesting to note that he's been charged with selling military secrets to... Switzerland?!

:coffee:

You bet! Deep in a valley on the far side of the Matterhorn, the Swiss are probably developing a stealthy cargo aircraft for secret international transfer of looted gold, stolen art objects and overpriced cheeses and chocolate...

:)

Switzerland has just been holding all of its anger in for so long and not fighting any wars that is is about to snap...we can expect to overrun Western Europe in the next couple of months.

No, it's true, those damn Swiss are at it again!

I'm going to rant about about those snotty people in Geneva. Over there they have strict labor laws, so you couldn't get them to work overtime, unless if you paid them, even if they're on salary.

So whenever there's a production problem and we need to get ahold of people in Geneva office, they all refuse to pick up their cel phones after work, even the managers!

What to do? The company decides to put US workers on call 24/7 to provide support, because we can make people on salary provide after-hour support, and not pay them overtime.

I detect a conspiracy where the Swiss infiltrated our government and changed labor laws, so they can work 6 hour days for more pay, and make us work 16 hours for less pay! They use Americans as cheap labor!

Switzerland ... is this a typo?

Nope! The Swiss are the Israelis of Europe when it comes to military intelligence! They try to make everybody think they're a bunch of cheese-dipping folks in lederhosen and dirndl skirts who stand around blowing on oversized meerschaum pipes, selling cough drops and running private banks!

They've been able to maintain their neutrality for so long because behind the screen they're tough, efficient, dedicated people! Remember: That 30-year-old credit analyst the company just hired in their Budapest office has military training, is in the Swiss reserves, and hasn't just been putting on the uniform to go camping a couple of times a year... Switzerland's a tightly-knit community, and you'd better bet anything worthwhile gets quickly passed along to someone who knows what to do with it!

I never really accuse the Swiss of any kind of cowardace (directly anyway. Indirectly, I supouse I have), but that is something new.

Kinda figures though. It's always the quiet ones, isn't it?
