Military Chinavs. USA debate

I'm sorry if I posted inthe wrong forum, but I've been involved in a mass debate if USA and China fought, who would win. I've been telling these guys about the new multirole fighters, such as the J-11, and referred them to our site, but still they claim that this site doesn't state about the fighters.




Then I went on talking about the Moskit missile, they still don't believe me, and what I conclude is that they didn't bother to even check the website.

If those interested, please join me. I'm Leocardia, and I don't think my information I've posted is accurately mentioned.

Frankly, you're probably wasting your time trying to argue this kind of point, especially in forums where, "My country could kick your country's ass" mentality prevails. (Not that it's so childish in the forum you referred us to, but common enough in other places)

Even when you can compare military hardware or resources that can be mobilized, it is still by no means an accurate indication of who would win a potential conflict. Geographical location, motivation, allies all can influence the outcome of conflict, and many of these factors cannot be reliably predicted. If there's any doubt, just consider the example of the Vietnam war.

In short, it's not worth your time.

Yep, because the USA would win. There is no way that china could defeat the USA at this point just because the US military has the most combat experience backed up by incredible training exercises. North Vietnam was getting pummelled militarily even though they were backed by BOTH china and the ussr and it was a limited war as far as the USA was concerned. North Vietnam prevailed because the ussr spent bazzillions of rubles to bribe, influence, or mislead the US media. Who can china count on when the USA drops the hammer? Iran, Syria, Cuba and all the lesser nations who are floundering in their own problems?
