I surf amazing new technology gun (metal storm) ,million round /minutes.
it may be same effect like cluster bomb.it can be seen at youtube video.
it technology is come from ink jet printer works(refilling ink)I can not explain clearly to you.so pls search via youtube.
This gun will be commissioned for US<USSR,PRC,NATO ,india army and airforces.
one of that can kill hundreds of soldiers who gathered or stay at same area.
it effective range and parametre & cost these are need to be seeking ,and waiting for its design ,which country will be 1st user.

100s 0f matal fragment run in supersonic speed and next cattrage are ready for next firing firing system is controlled by computer and rader.

After reading your article, I have to say you really need to work on your English. Metal Storm is nothing new. The technology has been available for a while now. An 1K rifle and 30 cents bullets are far more cheaper than this cutting edge technology. War or fear of War are the major driving force of military technology development. Unless we see another major conflict erupting, M16s and M249s will be more than sufficient to fight the so called "terrorists"

The weapon is not practical. Metal Storm has an incredible rate of fire - it can empty itself in a couple of seconds tops. So.....how easy is it to reload? Do all soldiers carry prefab rods of ammo around? What about reloading the larger version? Sometimes, rate of fire can work against you, especially for reload/resupply.

MetalStorm and its like are fired via electrical current,whereby rounds are line up in the barrel and fired off in sequence upon application of the charge.Dont really think rpm's really that relevant as no one really fires the weapon at it full rate,its really just a sales point to highlight the potential of the weapon.

Would imagine for a placement weapon, I would envisage some sort of reoading vehicle much like is available for artillary etc.

ALSO LAYOFF THE DUDE ABOUT HIS ENGLISH!!!DIDNT FIND HIS POST THAT DIFFICULT TO UNDERSTAND!AND HOW WELL CAN YOU SPEAK HIS LANGUAGE?

Very well actually. I am a native Chinese speaker. I didn't mean to come down on him. I am just saying the grammatical mistakes he made are not that difficult to figure out if he paid a bit more attention.

I can check or use spellcheck but I did not use it. in the last posts.
today,metal storm hitech weapon topic will be continued as followed.
I believe that it is not suitable for gurrella war(meeting at jungle) but well prepared war can be use these weapon even difficult to reload.
I think that it works like inkjet printer,metal fragments or pcs will be direct hit to the tergets ,when we print out the drawwing or picture,inks(colours)cattrages drop according to the files,or shapes...drawing on computer ,million of pixel consist or formed with million pixels.

Our friend here should go to English Language Forum, this is a military Forum, no one really cares. Or you shouldn't born in China, if you born in Canada, you would be a native English speaker. Blame on your parents.
