I heard about this news on the Phoenix TV military news program. Can anyone confirm what type of destroyers and how many. I can't find any article about it (too busy lately).

I heard about this news on the Phoenix TV military news program. Can anyone confirm what type of destroyers and how many. I can't find any article about it (too busy lately).
They're probably referring to this article:
They're looking to sell a smaller version of 071 LDP and a training light frigate. Their current training frigate KD Hang Tuah (ex HMS Mermaid) is over 30 years old and need replacement.
The Malaysian navy doesn't operate destroyers, only frigates and corvettes.
