take a look at this picture with this older H6 carrying something under its belly, not sure what it is. my guess is: it is a SAT killer, not unlike the USAF F15 carrying an anti-sat weapon. either way, this " thing" is space bound for sure. what you guys think? BTW, I don't think the picture is P.Sed.

No, It's a scaled-down tech demonstrator of Project 863-7XX sub-orbital bomber, codename "Godlike Dragon"(神龙)

If it's a highly secretive project then how do you know:

"No, It's a scaled-down prototype of re-enterable space shuttle/bomber, codename "Godlike Dragon"(神龙),TS Project 863-706 "

Maybe I am Chinese and I have friends working in PRC's military-industrial complex?

Or maybe I am nobody and I just like to gather info on Chinese BBS.

well, Its a 25 ft separation vehicle. get released by H-6 at High altitude to simulate a reentry vehicle. Probley to attack large surface ships. sending up the full rocket with booster has chance of destroying the high tech test vehicle hence it is launched by H-6.

There are two projects said to be dealing with the H-6. One is an ASAT program, though I am starting to think the rocket there might be a little small for that. The other is the scramjet program. Don't think it has anything to do with ships, that H-6 belongs to the PLAAF.

micro satelite under the belly.
during the last zhuhai airshow,Chna space agency confirm they are testing micro satelite launched from H-6 bomber.which is much more economical NASA has tested similiar concept.
ASAT killer satelite can be easily fitted in centerline pylon of J-11/su-33

mxiong, no offence, just asking :)
Seriously, the thing does look like some high tech stuff. Can't see the wing at that angle. It looks more like a missile if not for the shape of nose.
