I know this sounds like spam, but it isn't.
I notice a number of Pakistani members and wonder if anyone could direct me at a good introductory course to Urdu available either online or through mail-order. I live in HK at the moment and I couldn't find a place to learn the language - apparently there were quite a few teachers here but all of them are female and according to my contacts who work with the Pakistani community in HK they object to teaching males such as myself. I have found several sites that purports to teach it such as Urdu Reading (third link on google, you can't miss it, I can't post links yet) but am unsure what sort of quality such sites offer. I've already begun but I am just not sure about my progress.
If any member can recommend a good starting course I shall be very much obliged.
