Japan's latest Kono folly

Shinzo Abe's administration ordered an investigation into the so-called "Kono statement," taking responsibility for Imperial Japan's role in forcing Korean women into sexual slavery before and during WW2. The investigation found fault with the original Kono communicate, saying it was coerced by international politics. However, Abe's Chief of Cabinet Secretary said the government will not change the Kono statement.
