Do any of you listen to Japanese pop or rock music? If so, please give me a quick introduction/explanation/overview and tell me some good bands/songs? Thx in advance.

I only know a few, or to make it clearer I generally only have one or two songs by each artist, but they're pretty good (of course, music tastes are subjective)

You could start with :

Garnet Crow

Mai Kuraki
Garnet Crow

Kuraki Mai

I would listen to J-Pop. But honestly, they scare me.
